What's the best glue for wheels?

Got the standard Traxxas MERV (just found out what that means) wheels.
Unlike the slick Mustang wheels, they are coming apart.
What's the best adhesive to keep tires glued to rims?

I have the CV glue but I'm not so sure bout that.
I attempted to glue some other soft on-road Integy wheels together and it didn't work so well in my opinion...My Mustang took flight and took out a car's side mirror...

medium weight ca glue is jsut fine... make sure to get it into the bead, not just on top of the edge

This is the same ca glue I use. Also if it is your first time glueing rc tires ,becareful not to glue your fingers together. lol

My LHS said there is regular CA glue and CA glue for tires. Is that true or is it all the same?

I use "LOSI: Tire Glue: Thin" it's everywhere, it's cheap, and it's super easy! THIN means very watery and thus the capillary action takes over and does the work for you. *cheers

there is rubberized ca tire glue... i bougth that stuff, it sucked! it never hardened... and was very messy.... didn't do a good of job as the regular stuff either....

Thin CA seems to work the best as it flows inside the rim when the capillary action takes place (glue gets sucked around the rim). I believe "tire glue" is just this thin CA badged specially so people will pick it up over other thin CAs.

Go to a hardware store or DIY store and you'll be surprised of what regular glues are made of. I use loctite super glue because it's thinner than water and is made of CA (has the clear colour too)

To sum it up, I suppose any type of CA glue works as long as you apply the glue in the correct places?

Yup.
I used superglue...
from the cheap 4 for a dollar stuff to the 4 a bottle stuff.
It all works fine when applied properly.

Might have to try the super thin stuff I have for my static models next time. If I remember correctly scuffing up the rim seating area helps with adhesion. Have to gauge the trouble I will get into if I steal the woman's nail file before I attempt it.

I can agree with that!!!! I let my wife drive my Merv (her first time ever driving an rc) and now she is moving money around so I can buy her one of her own

Best glue I have used krazy glue advanced formula. Bought some rubberized and first time I had a tire come Unglued!
