    TQi Revo 3.3 4th Channel?

I got the TQi with the new Revo 3.3 box. I was under the assumption that there were 2 and 4 channel versions of the TQi and since I have a thumb switch on mine, I assume I have the 4 channel version. My question is, where is the 4th channel? I have throttle, sterring, fwd/rev. Is that considered all 4? I thought fwd/rev is tied to one channel. Thanks in advance.

PS I was very disappointed to find that telemetry modules are impossible to find in stock. I really would like battery voltages and temp readings.

    Thanks!

You have the 3 channel version.
The only model with a 4/5 channel is the Summit.

There are 2, 3, and then the 4/5 channel TQi's.
Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.

Interesting.. I didn't see a 3-ch listed anywhere on the website. Is it mod-able to 4+ch?

The 3 channels are not listed for some reason.. but they are/will be included with Nitro RC's with reverse.
The LINK part number is 2239, in case you are wondering... not sure of the TQi number.

No one has attempted to channel mod a TQi yet. The one I had was already a 4/5 channel... and I wanted/needed the $100 I sold it for. lol

LINK 3 channels can be modded to 4/5 channel radio's... at least I was able to get mine to.

TQIs are software / firmware locked to be whatever they were programmed as. It can't be changed or cleared.

    So are LINK radios.
I can change those from 2 channel to 4/5 channel.... I can also change a 3 channel to a 4/5 channel.

It is still unknown if a TQi can be unlocked.
Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.

Yes, but a link radio doesn't connect itself to the internet to check what it is and update / change its own firmware, thats why its built in.

TQi doesn't either... the iDevice might though.

Again, it is still unknown if a TQi can be unlocked.

The PowerUp program is the only way to get more channels... or buy a higher channel count TQi outright.
