67.9 mph with 8mm carb and moter saver air cleaner

I think the motor is breaking in. I hit 67.9 mph today with a all stock jato acept for the carb and motor saver air cleaner on 20% traxxas fuel

I cant realy get this thing over 68mph with these tires. I made one pass and the tires were so razered out that the contact patch to the pavement maybe been a 1/4 inch on all four tires. It get so hairy at 67 68 mph super hard to drive. Can you say Foam tires next

Figured I would update this: New speed 70.9 mph Bolt ons are as followed: buku clutch, tm523 8mm carb, Motor saver air cleaner, THS pipe , X-01 front tires with the stock rear anacondas and 33% traxxas fuel. Bolting on those X-01 front tires realy helped me out in the mph and made the truck more stable at high speeds. Instead of 4 tires razored out and distored now theres only 2 now.

Do you have your body on or off when doing speed runs?

I test with the Body on. One of the bigest things for me is I have so much testing crap on board when I crash and I dont have the body on I'm always looking for these small eletronic devices in the weeds.
