    Question voltage telemetry

Hey I had a question about the voltage sensor on a e maxx brushless edition. I saw that is plugs into the esc then the battery plugs in to it, but the maxx has two battery plugs, so do I need two sensors of it, or will just one on one plug work. Thank you very much P.S. does anybody have any pics of the emaxx with the telemertry sensors installed. Thanks again ~Dannen

The sensors aren't available yet. I don't believe Traxxas quite knows how it all works yet. Ecause they have yet to receive any of the equipment. Correct me if I'm wrong but the XO-1 has the same motor and esc...perhaps a peek there.

I looked in the xo-1 pic but i could not see any useable info, it almost appeared as though it weren't on.

I'll look through the XO-1 forums for anything. I think right now everything is a guess until Traxxas actually receives the equipment and plays with it to figure it out...dang those slow manufacturers!!!

I'm not exactly sure how the dual battery is going to affect the voltage tap but it is required to get the voltage readings. (if I am not mistaking, the temp sensor needs the tap to power that sensor as well). The original design takes the signal reading form the ESC, the EMaxx doesn't have that connection. So, in order to get the V reading, you will need to attach the voltage tap. I again assume since its in a series connection, it wont matter what end you connect it to.

The other sensors have their own power sources in the receiver.

its late and I have been lookin' all over the place for this, so....best I have for now...hope I'm close

Thank you very much, I'm sure somebody will figure it out or worst case scenario you just get two and a "Y" adaptor to connect the two end leads to the temp sensor.
