TQI Nitro/electric questions

I have never had, or operated a Nitro model, hence the questions

1) Does anyone know if the TQI radio that comes with the Revo Nitro will work with the electric models, i.e Slash, E-Revo?
I think the answer is yes, but I want to make sure before I make the purchase.

2) Will the TQI have full function on the electric models? I know the sensors are a seperate issue all together.

3) What is the red switch for on the handle?

Any input is appreciated. I did a search and couldn't quite find the answers to my questions.

The radios are the same from Nitro to Electric.

The red switch may be the thumb switch... which is most commonly used for shifting the transmission; either from forward to reverse (nitro) or high to low (electric)

The radio does not care what model the sensors are in... it will just read what it gets and display the information.
