    Post Wheel/Tire Setup

I need some wheels for the Road Rage II's. I prefer beadlocks, but I have seen many people complaining that they are too heavy. Does anyone know some beadlocks that are not too heavy and a reasonable price? Thanks

Axial has some lightweight plastic beadlocks. Search for 2.2 MUD Rock BEADLOCK WHEELS AX10 WHEELY KING CR-01.
I got them last year off ebay 18$ + shipping for a set of four.
They use 8 screws on each side but the holes are not threaded from factory, so you have to cut the threads yourself.

Have run them for some packs with Dirt Hawgs last fall, but have switched to RPM Clawz wide wheelbase since then.

I can weight them and post a pic (without tyres) later if you want.

Aren't the Road Rage II's truck size, so you'll struggle to get bead locks to fit regardless? I've got some plastic Axial 8 holes on my SCX10, which I'll try when I get new tyres, but I reckon they'll be too narrow too.

Nah, I've fit Road Rage II tires on 1/16 proline beadlocks fine.
