Is the Losi balancer ok for the Xo1? Or there a better one?

IMO Losi balancer is the best for $, Only issue is the splines that won't fit standard 17mm, but there was enough thread to from the spindle to bearing mount. I highly recommend balancing the tires, especially for speed runs.
To balance my tires (on my Revo), I disconnect an axle shaft but leave the stub on and spin the tire while it is still on. Works great and best thing is that it is free.![]()

That's even easier to do with the xo-1 shafts Double G. Just pull the boot off and push the cv pin out. Then remove the lower half of the shaft from the splines. Mount your tire and spin it.
^ thats not as precise as a actual balancer but may get you close.

Sure Phildogg it depends on your bearings and personal abilities to get a good result.
dang. too late to edit.
To clarify, I'm a big fan of just using the car to balance its own tires. Its free, and gets close enough.
When I said spindle, I meant mounting the tire on the free spinning knuckle/stub axel of the car.
Yeah, It's something free to try.
Just get a balancer well worth the money
Losi balancer FTW i just modded the 17mm adapter to fit traxxas wheels.
What are you guys using for weight when balancing??
Doesn't really matter what you use.... I've used hot glue, I've seen a guy glue a tiny nut to the rim.... but now I've been using lead tape.
You can find it in the golf section of sporting goods stores.
Any of you willing to make a tutorial video of balancing an XO-1 tire?
