Also ordered Rc Screwz Screw Set: 1/16 E-Revo RCZTRA037 and will take my MERV apart down to the bolt again.. Already noticed some gunk around the bulkheads so my MERV will be down for an overhaul for the next couple of weeks.. May even wait until the steel CVDs get ordered before I completely put it back together again.. wish me luck.. pics to come.. and 50 I have tons of questions on shimming and getting the alum bulkhead case as well PMs to follow lol

army how did you get that servo and esc black?

U can take em apart and dye or u can use flat black spray paint it is plastic and the esc is waterproof, if for the look the application really doesn't matter how u go about it.. The dye is mainly to keep the black color when scraping but u don't have to worry about scrapping the esc lol so spray, dye, finger nail polish IMHO it doesn't matter to me I choose to dye and flat black so if something does scrape its still black if that makes sense?

tenebol... i got a good deal on mine.. found some one wanting to get rid of it.. so i got the esc, motor, mount, and two pinions, for $130 shipped!!! dont worry about the pics my man... im taking pics like a mad man.. from stock, and between each and every detail down to the screw.. pics will be up tonight. will start my own thread. called (of course) jhsmith's MMP build.. be looking for it.

I'm thinking the same thing man but I just found this it sits on the electric 540 or 550 motor an is electric and allegedly cools to about 30-40 degrees! It's designed for the e Revo 1/10 scale... I figured it'd be something different !

I installed a small fan as well and it does ok but it still overheats especially when using the Pro-Line 2.2" Titus / Beadlock setup.

those rims are a killer lighter ones will make you run cooler and quicker!

Hey thanks Mossie.. And like I said before I wish I was on your budget so I can drop do some true customizations lol.. I can't wait to get on yalls level with my MERV.. after putting this body together its kinda motivated me to give a try at the speed runs that you guys do. But Ima figure something out, maybe a full featured basher and street runner with the change of tires! But yea, I just did some runs up and down the street for about 30min and the motor was crazy cool I think that tape stuff actually works lol... In case any other readers are interested!

to tell you the truth

i got 3 sets of wheel

stock talon for - grass and sand and going through gravel

Hpi rims with speed hawgs - for fooling around and fun driving

and foams for doing speed as fast as it will go

the last i like the most and usuall i do some fooling around and fun driving with drifts and wheely stuff

and the second pack is always SPEED AND NOTHING BUT SPEED

Armyssg one day you also will be at the same level like the guys you mention
I THINK your making progress real quick and got my respect doing all the stuff yourself

your a great person to have on a forum like this

keep us updated about your project master
and remember doing a mod once in a while makes it more fun then do everything in one time
