What did you do to your Merv today?

For anyone looking for major speed and acceleration
I had a steel 35t pinion but it felt heavy,lot of rotating weight. I just received my Robinson racing 1335 aluminum pro pinion in today 2.8 grams compared to 8.1 g for steel!

i also run alu pinion first a couple of weeks the 31T and since last week the 35T

mine are from robitronic (i always use their pinions)

alu indeed make a huge diff. in weight and also have a steel 31T but there is a huge dif. with the alu one 31T
(for example a little to much throttle and it flips with the alu one)

Went to take the Merv out for a spin and cut the receiver on, plugged n batteries, cut the esc on... Turned the wheels left and right then all systems failure... Don't know what happened but I figured it was the battery... Nope put a freshly charged battery in and same result, cut the esc on this time and a weird green, red, flashing pattern... I'm going to look at the cheat sheet for the esc but I don't think it's the throttle, heck I even reset to factory settings on the radio... Hopefully I'll figure it out 2mar!

3S is pretty much only useable on pavement... lots and lots of pavement.
That old WalMart parking lot was almost not big enough. lol

I was not brave enough to strap my EVO LTE on the lid, but the calculator says I should be going all of 55-60MPH.

Army.. Are u runnin castle? If so just recalibrate it, happens to me a lot. Hold full throttle turn it on, when it flashes red, hold full reverse, when it flashes yellow, let the trigger go, it'll blink a few colors then go yellow, then your set..
If u have a castle Esc any way

I wish lol.. I'm still running the stock setup.. Maybe this will give me the excuse to upgrade to a dif motor esc combo... I think it probably just needs to be reset to stock settings again...

I ordered my merv today. Got it used off the market place for 150, no tx or rx, bone stock, only ran a couple times, 2 stock batteris, 2 lipos, thunder ac6 charger. The charger can charge all types of batteries so i think i got a pretty good deal.
