Run 2 or 3 cell at local dirt track when racing?

I just got a new platinum because my local hobby shop just opened a new store with 2 outside tracks. When I watch vids on youtube of these races it looks so freaking fun. my platinum is basically stock with better tires and 17mm hex kit. Have a tqi radio on the way for it. My question is should I set this truck up for a 2 cell or 3 cell? It doesnt look like in all the vids ive seen the trucks dont get to a very fast speed and traction is more key. Does that mean a 2 cell would be good enough for track and maybe just throw in a 3 when Im playing on the street? Just curious to see what the racers do

Most racers are limited to 2s. If you plan to race keep that in mind.

At my LHS, 2c on the indoor track, 3c on the outdoor track. Have to check the track rules.
