sand paw for sand. but for snow it depends of what sort of snow and how deep it is. paddle type don't work in many types of snow.

If you are buying these to run in the snow, DONT BOTHER!
Chains are much better in the snow.....I know because I have tested both ways. Chains are cheaper, too.

I've found the stock tires work pretty good in a light powder that isn't more than an inch deep. They will get on top of the snow instead of trying to dig through it like a paddle would. In heavy wet snow, paddles work the best because it's the only kind that will get traction with the added resistance. For snow that is the slightest bit icy, you want studs or chains. I am currently making a pair with an old set of wheels and some screws.

good vid but that snow isn't that deep so the tires are sort of running on the grass. so it all depends on what sort of snow someone has.

Nothing is really going to help in the deep stuff. The Sand Paws will work to about 4 inches of snow.
