Just a pic of my setup and fans. I run 3s all the time. After 2 hours of running the motor was only 167 degrees. This is the 3500 Velineon. 54/17. It will run in the 50s all day long.

The key to stripping spurs in to make sure you have the mesh set correctly between the spur and pinion. I also hava a kingz head motor mount anda solid center diff. I have also changed out my motor bearing to ceramic bearings by protek. Im sure there are many other brands but these are about 11 bucks a pair. If you prefer not to use the solid diff then get the aluminum bearing carrier on the slipper clutch. It will keep from melting the plastic on 3s.

break motor mount bearings on 2s

I decided to try out the Tbone racing rear bumper. Had to improvise a little bit. Here are some pics. This is made from a stock slash rear bumper so i can use the rear sway bar.Go ahead and assemble the piece and sway barThen install brace over the topAssembled

Sorry for the quality. Took from my Iphone. The only thing I need to do is made a little aluminum piece to hold in the hinge pins. It was suppose to have some kinda shim in the kit but it wasnt in there. Oh well.

All day long. It's a good system IMO if your not gonna run over 3s. Just don't bury it in mud. The esc button will stick eventually. And I run a fan on both motor and esc

Sic Pede! What MIPs are you using with your pro-trac kit? I'm using MIP 11109 and 11110 and I'm not sure if there compatiable with the protrac kit

MIP10130 rear kit. MIP10132 front kit. MIP11105 is for the extended dog bones. You need 4.

Heres an update on my 4x4 pede. Back to stock chassis. New lid. a RPM slash rear bumper modified. And a Tbone racing rear skid with it. Front bumper and skid on the way. Should be well protected.

I was looking at your Tbone wheelie bar pics and noticed you didnt put the plastic cap that comes with it against the bulk head tie bar. Is there any reason for that? Pity the 2200 is just a little too much to fit in the Pede chassis. That is what I like about the shorter 2650.

My Tbone kit didnt come with the caps. It was missing a couple of pieces. My kits for the Summit were missing a couple of things too. I just dealt with what I got and they work great.

I didnt realize the 2200 was to long. I havent even tried to put it in there. I may look into the 2400 or 2650. I hear and read good things about both.

    Ok. That makes sense.
About the 2400 and 2650, both are great choices and make some more RPM on the same voltage.

Did some changes again today. Went ahead and put the 2200kv set up in until I can get a different motor. I still like the performance and temps on 2s. Running 54/17. Here is a couple of pics. With his big brother.

As long as you stay within the 5S and 4S specs I dont see a reason why not.

Cool. Thanks. I'm not a ford fan and there doesn't seem to be any dodge bodies out there. So that's the next best thing.
