    anyway to shorten rpm front bumper

    Hey guys just trying to figure out if there is anyway to get the front bumper closer to the body and still keep its integrity.in my opinion it sticks out to far thanks for any help

    To be honest, that is one of the reasons I have always kept the stock bumper.

    I cannot run the stock bumper it gets all up in the body, the RPM fits better for me. I'm running a Proline Silverado body 3360-07 I think.

    cut some off then drill new holes. and if it needs to be reshaped soak in hot water.

    yeah mine fits pretty good in my opinion with the Traxxas Raptor body, but there was a good sized unsightly gap with the stock Slash body






    I think the heating and deforming would be a better rout than cutting and making new holes, but it seems like a lot of effort to go through just for a small cosmetic change, not to mention there's a good chance it's actually going to weaken the bumper, plus you'll undoubtedly loose the warranty that RPM gives to their products
