does stock tire on slash 4x4 good for off road?
does stock tire on slash 4x4 good for off road?
not really. it all dependeds on what kind of surface ur running on. the stock tires are a allaround tire. if u were to switch to something like gladiators for dirt its going to be a night and day difference. like i said it alldepends on the surface ur running.
Ditto on what he said. Stock tires are like ice skates on clay. Holeshots or Wishbones here.
i suggest badlands for all offroad. they make a set for sct now

The stock tires do OK on pavement, but not much else. The big smooth blocks without many voids just don't grip anything loose or soft. For bashing use badlands for soft surfaces, grass and dirt, trenchers for a mix of grass, dirt and pavement, there are other decent tires that also perform well.
I have had good luck with the stock S1 compound tires. They have done me well.

If you are staying with the SC-sized wheel, any of the three Pro-Line all-terrain tires should do well for you on gravel. I typically match the blockiness of the tire to the roughness of the surface.
I know they're having their break there by your brake drums. No, you're not invited.
