Found a hairline fracture on the left handside lower A-arm so I had to replace that also...

And while I was at it I decided to change all 4 axle carriers... and re-greased the suspension's bearings.

Doing some speed runs and general powerslide/drifts around long corners. I started to hear a weird noise.....then.....front wheel drive only.

Dang...that is crazy!
The center shafts are the only part I haven't yet had problems with.When I ordered the mip axles I went ahead and added the center drive shaft kit I figureed it would only be a matter of time b4 they would fail any how

NIIICE..

not always but one cause for the center shaft failures is a rock getting in under the center skid & starts rubbing.

Yup I think thats what it was...... as the car flew by it started making a clicking sound. I figured one of the diffs lost a tooth. Having a rebuild kit back home I thought I would run it till falure then open her up when I got home. WRONG diagnosis. Easier fix though

I still need a Taller/Larger tire. For higher speed.....

Finally got a break worth sharing.

I am just happy I didn't find leaky diffs for once! One too many sideways landings fatigues this part. Luckily Losi listened to their customers and came out with HD outdrives part number LOSA3503

Shimming will help them last longer. As long as you aren't on the throttle while landing. Seems like that may be the case since they are breaking so fast like that.

You could also try lst/2 diffs. They fit in the bulkheads with modification.

Blew out a rear tire on my first 5 minutes on 5s... guess it's time for tires now...
I keep popping out one of the rear TRX CVD from the cup at the diff and stripped a upper ball stuff from the rear upper arm... Front bulk head is cracked around the lower part were the diff housing allen screws rest....

Shattered front Bulkhead and one of the hinge pins. Then later broke my lst2 drive cup in half (Was even the HD version)

Over the weekend broke the left rear a arm, actually just a crack.... so hoping to make it last as we were out of town, i just didn't do any more big air jumps.....

I broke rear wing mount,rear body mount down by the hinge pins,and last but no surprise rear differential failed once again

Broke the front yoke of the center driveshaft ...

And had a stripped screw in one of the rear suspension rockers ...

Yeah some kinda luck today I managed to strip 1/4 coating off the motor wire...right at the motor to top it off.

Was that a CC blower now smashed! That is a well loved truck with heaps of preload on the rear shocks

Hey I did that too on the 1717 in my revo.
But I also hit a tree at about 50 so I am rebuilding everything I will post some pics later.
I broke everything in the front but for some reason the TUBES are good to go, Traxxas did something right making them.
They amaze me every crash.

But i think I need to make a motor mount out of titanium though. Aluminum or steel is just bending every time.

oh man I broke this on my Baja 5T and have not been able to fine it anywhere in stock 2 months.
They are like 2 lbs each but in a 40 lb truck it broke on me.

I just had to put the pinion back on when that got thrown off the truck, but after that good as new

BUMP!

Guess what i broke trying backflips. The HD LOSA3503 drive cup. It has lasted almost a full year though.

I'm sure my front diff finally bit the dust. Making lots of clicking noises. But noises don't stop me, so I bash on. lol

Then it no longer coasts - when you let off the throttle, all 4 wheels lock up. haha

I'll open her up tonight.

I haven't broken anything on the E Revo lately..... I must not be bashing hard enough LOL.... But now that I've said that... Will "Murphy's Law" appear?
