    I simply replaced them.
For a couple bucks, the incessant squeaking went away.

I really don't like to just replace things if there is another solution. Usually I pop the ball out and shave a little material out with a hobby knife but I figured that maybe someone had a better solution.

    Hate that squeaking.

I have tried every lubricant in my shop.WD-40,is the only thing I have found that works.Apply one drop, let it sit over night. Then I put some nitro cleaner on a toothbrush and get all the excess off.I'm sure the only reason it works,is because it softens the plastic.

Take a pair of pliers or vice grips and squeeze the top and bottom of the end link while its mounted. Been doing this for over 15 years with a new rc's it really loosens them up and eliminates binding.
Man i need more than 50 characters.
