Lipo charging help :(

I just got my lipo charger for my slash 4x4. My 3s lipos arent charger on more then 1.9A? The charger just shuts down and restarts. My 2S 2300mah lipos charge fine. I dont even know much about the charger. Please let me know. Thank you.

Use Lipo Balance. Never use Lipo charge.

Besides that your external power supply probably is not strong enough to feed it.

Thanks! that solves my problem. These are the specs of my Adapter:
Specification Input :100-240VAC (50-60Hz) Output: 12Vdc 1.5Amp

I have owned the same charger for almost a year. It's not too bad. Dont forget the charger wont get to 5A even when you use the right power supply. It is 50W. Since amps x volts = watts, you would need 63W (12.6 x 5) to charge a 3S battery with 5A.

That means it would be around 4.5A.

In fact a little less than 4A (4 x 12.6 = 50.4). But most of the time it does a bit more than 50W. If I remember well, mine did around 4.2A.
