    Tired of the stock ones!

Hey guys so I've had my summit for about a year now and I'm tired of the steering servo gears breaking I've probably replaced them about 5 times since I got the truck. So what other servos do u guys recommend and I would like them to have metal gears.

    Any help would be appereciated

in my opinion savox has the best deal for titanium geared waterproof servos.. hitec now has some wp servos but you would need 2 for them to work.. and for the same price you can get 1 savox with about 100 more oz. of torque..

i know how you feel. ive gone through 3 2075's and 7 sets of gears. all 3 servo's and about 5 sets of gears were on stock rims too. its pretty ridiculous. traxxas needs to make stronger servos for the summit.. but im sure they know that by now. but i doubt anything will be done about it.

One will be more than enough.stiffen the servo saver too or it will just get over powered and the wheels won't turn any better.

A castle bec is a good fix for that. Just take your time.

The bec can be set up to power jus the servo at 7.4 v for maximum torque if needed. Or if the servo requires 7.4 v the evx2 esc only provide 6.0v

oh really? jeeze i need to study electronics more lol.. i do know the servo can run on 6.0v though so 2s on evx2 would run the servo right?
