The stock ones are what 99% of people use. They're only $6, so just replace them as they break, and you'll break less as you become a better operator. The Toyz sells a cool looking aluminum one with graphite ends for ~$20, but I'm sure it wouldn't hold up to any abuse without bending.

The carbon fiber pattern is simply printed, it's still the same spoiler. I'd get 2 or 3 at a time.

Yeah and it's almost like a sticker, parts of it has chipped off on mine! Once the spoiler flexed, small areas simply flaked off. Disappointed.

Have you tried boiling it before using it?
I boiled mine right out of the box... it has lots of grind marks, but no cracks.
Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.

Interesting, I haven't tried that. I think it's too late now though as the boiling would just lift the "sticker" even more! Next time, next time for sure =)

toss it in a pot of water for 10 minutes.....

changes the chemistry in the plastic and makes it more flexible
Love how Noobs ask a ?, then say you're wrong

I was able to easily touch each end together after the process.

I recommend the ofna 1/12 scale wing, traxxas wing is the same size as I mounted on my 1/18 scale truck

You've inspired me to order a black ofna wing.

Beware though, bigger wing means more stress on the mount. Meaning you'll do more damage to your car if you break a bigger wing

i coated the bottom of my stock wing fully with shoogoo, and have yet to crack or break it and its worn down really really bad, standing back flips, 8 ft launches thru the air, wheelie'ing all the way down the road on it, its good to go...
Traxxas is good, but so are other Manus
