Stock shock bodies are best since they are teflon coated aluminum. The plastic pieces (black pieces) can be upgraded to aluminum. However the actual design of the shocks are perfect. Are u using stock springs and oil? If u havent U should find your silver and blue spring colors in the box. Put those on and you will see a much tighter truck. Thick oil, stiffer shocks, and the $4 VDP kit helps with jumping and resisting body roll.

I like mine super tight for bashing and jumping so i use some of the stiffest springs (blue/purple), stiffer/more progressive rockers (p3), 60/70 heavier weight oil (60/70), and a Variable Dampening Piston kit AKA vdp (#3 smallest holes).

Are you using the stiffer springs on 90mm rockers?

Well it should actually be silver upfront and blue in back. It will make a difference.
