Rocker arms? Which one are the most versatile? Feedback based on experience appreciated!

What I was looking for? FOUND:

It mainly depends on the track conditions. The most common rockers used for racing are the P2's. For rough and rutted tracks the P1 is the wiser choice.

LT - Not typically used for racing. Good for extremely rough terrain. Used for rock crawling and when max suspension travel is necessary.

P1 - Used on extra rough and rutted tracks for racing. These rockers provide good handing on extra loose tracks as well. The provide the 2nd most supsension travel.

P2 - The most widely used rockers, and most common for racing. They are good for slightly rough tracks, but generally smooth. The are the best all-around rockers and will get the job done on most surfaces. These rockers have the 3rd most supsension travel.

P3 - Used for racing mainly on extra smooth, high-bite tracks. These rockers provide the least amount of suspension travel.

The rockers towards the top let the chassis roll the most, transferring the most weight, while the ones closer to the bottom transfere the least weight. This is what makes the top rockers good for loose terrain. When weight is transferred, more grip is created due to the extra friction between to the ground and the tire, because the chassis transfers more weight to that tire. While P1's may be better for extra loose tracks, P3's may be best for high-bite tracks because of this reason. If it is a track with medium traction, then the P2's are the way to go.

In addition, although the rockers towards the top of the list will create the most traction, keep in mind that traction rolling is a possibility. This is when too much weight is transfered due to excess chassis roll, making the truck roll over. Also, while the rockers towards the top of the list create the most traction, the will feel the most sluggish and the truck will maneuver the track slower. The closer to the bottom of the list the rocker is, the more aggressive the truck will feel.
