battery burned up first time used

I got a rustler vxl and the battery it come with burned up the first time i used it.The plactic wrap around the cells was melted and the paper around each cell had shrivled up.

Wondering if you did end up contacting Traxxas and what the outcome was?

I have seen very high temps with the battery that came with my Rustler VXL after only a couple of runs. The sticker is getting all wrinkly and the battery has hit 180f. I will not use it anymore and switch to LiPo.
