Please help. Front & Rear Wheels Spin in Oposite Direstion

Looking for some help on where I screwed up.
My center drive-shaft broke on my 3rd NiMH pack, & I figured I'd upgrade to the Traxxas CVDs while I was replacing the DS.

Somewhere during the process I must have screwed up. My wheels spin in opposite directions, so my revo just sits there & does stationary burn-outs. Also, while I had the diffs apart, I noticed that they were pretty much empty. This truck is brand-new, & has been more trouble than I was expecing.

Any help/suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

You must have switched the ring and pinion gears on one of the differentials(either front or real).
Now, hold the car up, slightly put the trigger and find the wrong one, then open the differential and switch the ring and pinion gear back.
    Good luck

In other words, if u go forward, then the tires that go backward MUST have the gears switched in the differential.
    Hope this helps.

look at your manual too.. next time you take your truck apart and put it back together, eventually you'll remember which side the pinions are on, on the bulkheads

You put the differential on the opposite direction, the same thing happened to me on my first time.

Thanks for the replies guys. So it's as simple as flipping around the diff in the bulkhead?

That is the only way to solve it.
+1 on using the exploded views when you work on your truck.

that is the fun of the hobby!

gets annoying after awhie, but once you are built, you don't break stuff anymore, and you can go all out.... i am in the middle of a huge overhaul, but once it gets back together, i dont think i will be breaking anytime soon... and i drive like i stole it

Yeah, I agree w/ ya....I love working on my Baja 5T's, but this little thing can be a pain to wrench on. When I took it apart to fix the drive shaft, I added a few needed upgrades.

I pull my Rally apart every few months so I scratched some grooves on the bulkhead as a reminder which side the ring gear goes on. Handy, zero confusion after that.

Anyway, here's how they should be set up:

I agree, lack of good tools is def not a prob I have. It's the small size the the 1/16 that gives me trouble.
