    Will this fit the stock motor.

    probably yes, but I wouldn't use it, it's no so strong, it is made of plastic, no heatsink.

    The castle blower works a bit differently than a heatsink to cool. A heatsink draws the heat from the motor and the fan cools it. The castle blower is plastic and surrounds half of the motor. The fan cools the motor directly by directing air around the can. I can't suggest one over the other. I have both but haven't needed either one.

    I've had it for about a month ...been running my truck hard with 3s on stock gearing and have not overheated...it will fit.you just have to break off a few teeth to accommodate the wires.

    I put my fan on an Integy heatsink. Seems to work better.

    there are mixed feelings about fans threw out the community

    i prefer the castle 2650 fan shroud its bigger and would be sweet if it was aluminum but, IMO you cant go wrong with either one. if you use a heat sink i would use a thermal compound so you get the most out of it
