    Unknown Broken Part

    I went to put my new blue alloy front skidplate on and seen the part underneith that holds the bottom a arms it looks like 2 metal rods about 2 or 3in long going through it.A part of it where a screw goes in it is about busted off.Whats the nme of this part and do they make an alloy part to replace it.I dont bash,I must have hit somethng riding in the dark.About what do they cost?

    Bulkhead, intgey makes an alloy replacement, but I wouldn't recommend it.

    Ok.Is their a reason why you wouldnt recomend it?Would it crack the chassy if I put the alloy part their?Someone told me not o buy alloy parts cause they hold up but the part holding it on would bust.What would you suggest I should do dude?

    They look like this^
    Alum is heavy & it will bend in a hit. Correct it creates a new week point. I think the alum bulks are $150.00
    Stock bulks are cheap as chips Ebay chop shops..
    Would you go flip my truck back over??

    Ok.Is their a way to keep it from happening again?Maybe a differnt bumper or something?Too bad they dont make a impact resistant one.

    Better driving... Just Kidding.... I have broke two rears, both my fault tho.
