    Which 4S LiPo?

Presently I have a Venom 3S1p LiPo battery (11.1v, 5000mah, 35c) in my Slash 4x4, but would like to try a 4S. What voltage, mah, and cont. dist. number should I be shopping for in a 4S?

Already have the correct CC ECU/motor combo to handle it.

I found two Venom LiPos one has a 35c, and the other is 50c burst rate. Any up or down sides to either of these two? Doesn't the burst rate affect the initial "punch" when you pull the trigger?

I have had a lot of luck with the venom lipo's in both 2 and 3 cell in all of my rigs.
Went to get the 4s hard case and even with the larger battery adaptor it wouldn't securely fit.

Not to jack the thread but has anyone else had similar issues?
I have heard of cutting slits in the chassis with a dremmel and running velcro thru. Does this work?
If so what Velcro staps do you use and are there any problems that arise from this?

I have a GoPro mount that my hard case 4S pack just barely squeezes under and it's pretty secure with that , but I also use a pair of velcro straps from T.A. and they work great because the loops are angled 90* to fit the edge of the pack

The extended battery clip does fit. You have to turn it to the side where the clip goes up. It fits nicely.

Worked fine for my 3S until I installed the GoPro mount

Traxxas should make note that the two are not compatible

I just tape a couple of my SPC 2S hardcase packs together and use a series connector for 4S. They fit fine with the battery expander. This way I can use the 2S packs in my other vehicles.
