homemade or the TRX logo plastic cover<----not sure if they make it for 1/1o scale, I know 1/16 has a cover for it.
I'm thinking of doing it homemade out of aluminum plate.
Ok done a search and found THIS just wondering if it will work shows for Revo 3.3 would the holes not line up![]()

People have reported it wont fit. Scaniris had a write up on how to make one. A cd works. Or an old servo.
I saw a video the other day and I saw one of those covers on an e-revo chassis. Not sure how he made it fit though. It's at the end of the video in one of the pictures. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Ycfz4Kuz3c
I just used a left over piece of lexan from trimming a body. I drilled two holes in it and screwed it into the stock holes on the chassis. Simple and light.

I really don't see why the Traxxas cover won't work I've have 5 different brand servos and they all fit the hole the screw holes line up its only couple dollars won't hurt to try it I geuss

Has anyone considered lexan.
Cheap, light, effective, easy to cut, and you can use the rest of the sheet to make other things.
I just bought 3 9"x12" sheets of 0.015 for $4.00
Yes im considering any suggestions the lexan is a good ideal cheap got some left over from a body I painted just waiting to see what others are using

The cover that fits the Revo 3.3 does not fit the E chassis perfectly.
I made mine out of some old, solid nylon binder covers:

FWIW, this is the most strenuous duty I will put stainless steel screws to.
I also made mud guards for the Revos (mini and big) out of the same material. These mini ones needed some smoothing of the angles for a more finished look.
Prototypes for me (these are not my own design - I believe credit goes to mistercrash):

I know they're having their break there by your brake drums. No, you're not invited.
Thanks for the detail pics and info on the servo plate gonna be drawing up some cardboard templates for the rear guards also then find some material for both projects

The 3.3 cover isn't a direct fit but can be modded to fit. I used it on mine.

I would but I sold my E-Revo a few months back. :/
