castle 2650?

hi all. i wanted to know if i could use a castle 2650 on a duratrax element by castle esc on it with 3s? esc
esc says 4200kv max on 2s 2800kv max on 3s. would the esc work good with this combo. oh srry going on
a 4x4 slash. esc max current says up 2 100A.

Element is a rebadged Sidewinder and they are not suitable for any motor on 3s in these cars

ahh so what is a good esc motor combo to use with 3s and 2s

On 3s or 2s a lot od people have been using the Mamba Max Pro SCT 2400kv Combo. great mix of tourque and speed.

cool ty.think ill read up on that. so is a lower kv better for 4x4 slash or higher kv ? i dont understand this kv/turns stuff

Depends what voltage you plan to run

If you are running 2s only you can get away with a higher kv rated motor

If you plan to run 3s or above you will need a lower kv rated motor

MMP-2400 will do great on 3s, also MMP-2650.

Short answer, no. Mamba Max Pro or Monster Max ESC to handle that motor in the Slash 4x4. Or you could do a Mamba Max Pro SCT 2400 combo on 3s/4s, or if you have to stick with 2s for ROAR rules you could do the Mamba Max Race Pro (Max Pro ESC, 1410-3800 motor w/5mm shaft).
