    Multiple batteries

Hello. I was wondering if it is possible to charge multiple 3000mah 7 cell nihm batteries at the same time on one charger, or if that's bad for the batteries or the charger? tired of flipping batteries around, and wanting to find a faster way to charge than wait an hour for each

its not recommended to charge more than 1 battery at time with a charger that is not designed to charge more than one. some have tried charging 2 batteries in parallel with the right charger more higher end like a Icharger or similar. if you get a duratrax onyx 240,245 lipo capable 245 you can charge 2 at a time fine and safe. there other chargers out there that can do x2 batteries as well.

You can charge 2 batts in parallel fine with any charger. The charger doesn't know or care if it's one or two.

What the charger doesn't do is charge the 2 batteries any faster, unless you can increase the charge rate. For instance, if you have a charger that put out 3 amps and a 3000 mAh battery, it will take 1 hour to charge. If you put 2 batts in parallel on that charger, they will take 2 hours to charge. If you can increase the chargers output to 6 amps, then you can do two 3000 mAh batts in one hour.

And this is definitely not recommended since there would be no separate delta-V detection for each pack.
