Battery Crapped Out?

Quick question thats probably answered once a week.

Just plugged in a freshly charged battery, esc turns on, green, immediatly turns red for like a second, then

goes black. Receiver light stays on for another few seconds then system shuts down.

Then,

Plugged in an almost dead battery, completely Norml.

Im using Traxxas Brand Series 1 NiMh's.

is your lvc off?
from what you've told me it's probably the battery. Look into lipos and never look back

I had that problem, you might have water in he receiver box

I dried the receiver with a hairdryer and covered it in liquid electrical tape..

let that dry for anday then put the receiver box back on

Ill check inside the box. I just ran it with my other battery and I had no problems. Just with that battery.
What's a good lipo set up for starters?

spc lipos and a thunder ac6 charger is what i run

yeah, you just have to wait like a month to get them, if they have them in stock, and then solder on your own connectors

might actually get some 2s **********s.... i'm not worried about waiting.... jsut to see how they compare to my spc batts

i actually looked up sopme stuff from there recently, and they don't have near the amount of stuff in the usa warehouse..... they definitely don't have the ******* 390 or bluebird servos

No argument there. The satellite warehouses are poorly stocked... hopefully this will improved over time.

This thread has been cleaned up some. You guys are right on the line and not really abiding by the spirit of the rule. When Traxxas blocks the name of a website it is because they do not wnt it mentioned on this forum,. It is not to make members get creative and find a way to talk about it anyway.

Just wanted to update you guys. My battery is fine. Stupid me was in Lipo mode and it must have been tripping the low voltage. Dont understand how that is but whatever. All is good now.
