I'm sure this will be a common question: What do I need to make the 1/16 Grave Digger 4WD?

You'll need the front center shaft and universals, bearings, center diff, and left and right front driveshafts.

    Parts list:

    7151 X 2

    7078 X 1

    7079 X 1

    7019 X 1

    7056 X 1

    7057 X 1

why two wheel drive? i have the larger summit and with the two wheel drive it doesnt handle that well for of road nor does it for jumps i dont know if the there is a diffrenc between the 16th and the 8the revo chassis

but but not to be neggitive but the chassis is setup for 4wd(weight is centered)

    a rilly good price imo

The reason you have the really good price is because it has 2WD, and brushed. Younger kids will love it as-is for its durability and wheelie-popping ability; older/more experienced hobbyists can add the parts to make it 4WD and use our Power-Up program to swap brushed for brushless.

I used the 4 light kit for the roof of the full size summit and a jumper wire to light up the front bumper of my summit. I just popped out the little clear fake lights and the LEDS popped right, then got a jumper wire to run it to the RX and they're bright as can be. just rout the wire thru the middle of the front body mount, if you go below it may get caught on the rocker.

Well tried to order from my lhs but they say they it's not available to them until the 25th. I thought the release was today. Also the traxxas site reads out of stock? And after some online searching couldn't find any stores with one in stock. Has the release been pushed back. I don't care it's the same price as the 1/10 I like it and want to start the modding and running. Got all the stuff to make it 4wd already sitting here.

Aren't those the 1/10 scale bodies. I don't think the 1/16 bodies are even for sale yet.

Hey PeterV. Where's the mini digger love? There's no section for it! The posts about it so far are in all different places on the forum here. The press release says its supposed to be released today. And the Traxxas website says AVAILABLE NOW but is also OUT OF STOCK. How is traxxas out of stock on an item that's " maybe " released? I've been online all day waiting on some word on what's going on wanting to be one of the first with one of these trucks. My paypals ready. Just I work 60-72 hrs a week minimum so not much time for my hobby and have been looking forward to my order for better than a week. Thanks

In my opinion, all 1/16ths should be on the same forum.
They are so similar with each other, advice for one usually works for another.

I picked one up last week form my LHS... Its a lot of fun. this is my 17th Traxxas vehicle and second 1/16 scale (I also have a MERV). I havent ran it with the included brushed motor, but I upgraded it to brushless. It wheelies like crazy and is a lot of fun to tool arounf with in my living room. I haven broght it outside yet and dont know if I ever will.. The body is too pretty to mess up.
    Traxxas please sell kits!

Monster Jams is coming to my town this weeked, and my kid has been beggiong to go. If they have a 1/16 Grave digger for sale I will buy one just to get the body (I already have two summits). I just sold a used summit for $154. So selling a roller without body should save me some cash compared to buying the body alone.

    Hey guys,

I am a new Traxxas owner, as I just picked up this Grave Digger two days ago. For my first post here I wanted to say that I am really enjoying the truck so far, and look forward to learning more about Traxxas vehicles.
