Last weekend I did my first ever 3s run. Worked great for about 23 seconds. Did the walk of shame to get my Slash and smelled some major funkiness. Something smoked! So this evening I get around to checking it out. I unmounted the motor, turned everything on and goosed it, worked fine. Feeling bold, I remounted it, set mesh and that jazz, hit the throttle and all four tires kicked into high gear like nothing happened! I am confused as the smell was pretty bad. Any ideas?
For the record when my taxes come in a week or two I will be upgrading to some sort of Mamba system.

Maybe smoked the slipper?
Mine wouldn't hold on 3S at all until I tightened it all the way down....

Oddly enough after posting I decided to pull the slipper apart. It all seems well. The pads have some wear but they are far from gone. Maybe I should run it Sunday cranked down?
