    broke the sway bar screw in the A arm NEED HELP!!

    So i was puting my set of sway bars on tonight and i broke the screw that goes into the A arm off in the A arm.....Did i mention they are alum A arms.....Can i get another link for the sway bar without buying that kit? And how do I poss get that piece out of the a arm so I dont have to buy new a arms?

    You can pop the linkage off of the ball joint type screw that goes through it, might make it easier to get out.

    You can buy just the front links I think the part# is 6895

    How should I attempt to get the broken screw out of the alum A arm??

    Is any of the screw exposed or did it break inside of the ARM

    Its broke off inside the arm........pretty much flush.

    The only way I can think of is drilling it out. Which is hard when the screw is that small but if you go just a little smaller and get it centered so should be able to just pull out the rest of the screw with a small pick. If that doesn't work may have to drill and tap it up a size and drill out the sway bar link end

    You may be able to get a reverse drill bit. When you turn it left, it will thread in backing it out. Just make sure its good quality and not harbor freight or walmart special.

    Got it! Used a dremel and smoothed the end of the screw then a took another dremel bit and started a small spot in the center of the screw then i used a drill and the drill bits gradually getting bigger till i was able to get it out!! SUCCESS!! lol
