ran it at work today. Much happier with this truck than i thought i would with 4s. I did bend a CVD shaft and roach the slipper.. Lost two pads.

Went through a set of batteries yesterday and today I did a little ( and much needed ) wrenching on it.

Reajusted the camber and wheel alignment, camber was way off and the front wheels must've had 3 - 4 degrees of toe-out.

I also re-tightened the pivot ball caps wich were all too loose, it helped a lot with the wheel slop...

Running for about 10 minutes today and the motor seized... Pulled it apart and got a surprise!

psshhhh wow this happened to me when i used really small tires once for fun and burned the motor.

check for rotor replacements on ebay you can fix it half the price than bying a new motor!

Yep got a rebuild kit for $30 so should be back into breaking bits in no time!

oh even cheaper.. nice. maybe i will fix my broken motor as well then, tho i am not sure about any damage to the coils... how did you check yours? its not easy electrically..

Just visually... Looks ok but won't know until I replace the rotor I guess. Fingers crossed

i was cleaning mine this morning from the last run and when i open the battery compartment i found a black widow in there. good thing i look in first before sticking my finger in. i wish i would have taken a pics before killing it.

I stripped a 32p spur for the last time then switched to mod1.0 gearing.

The keeper screw(think thats what its called) came loose on my front center driveshaft closest to the tranny and ate up the yoke. Ran 2WD for the rest of the run. Part # 2582 stripped out on me when I tried to disassemble. I got it really really really dirty also. Had allot of fun testing out my new CL settings. I turned the motor timing all the way up the highest would go and turned my punch to 0% and made my throttle curve go from left to right at about a 60 degree angle! Ran it in the damp loose dirt out behind my house like that and BOY let me tell ya, holy crap thing thing is a beast. I have ran 6S for about a year on modest 70% punch with regular throttle curve and 0 motor timing (lowest) but today I wanted to see what thing really had under the hood.

I did the stub mod & all it did was bind the hubs on. They were a pain in the stars.

congrats on the gummys... ooo & the hubs too..

Took a pry bar to remove the hubs...seemed like a good cure at the time tho. Managed to get about a hour use out of them until we blew out another diff.
Losi differential looking like the next step!

this diff talk is making me thing about selling my ERB...
Our tight budget won't allow for 30 - 60 in repairs right now if i blew a diff out.. started thinking about making the ERB 2wd and hanging onto the front parts for spare diff and axles for the rear....

Currently ive been running and jumping in rwd.

I initially heard some clicking when braking hard so i and started crying. It turned out to be a loose mesh in my front diff and it was skipping on hard brakes. The diff case was cracked (previous wreck) and the screw holding the cup onto the pinion wasnt loctited or tight. I was probably a combination of the two. It was all due to user error so of course i was a little bummed. So instead of waiting on shipping i just went to rwd.

Since practicing rwd and i gotta say i miss my brakes!!! Rear brakes only is like fwd for acceleration. I kept almost running over things for the first two runs.

Currently waiting on my order of

1 Complete new Losi diff
- 1 outer diff case (i can hear the dremel singing now!)
- 1 diff cup
- 2 drive cups
- 1 ring and pinion
- 4 bearings

Joined the crowd. Bought my erbe today. My son and I ran his e maxx (1 week old, but got it for his b-day today) and my revo up and down the street today. Had a blast. Love being back in the hobby. Last rc was a Kyosho ultima. Sport has come a long way.

I finally used my Ryobi 4 Tek driver with losi 2.5mm and 2.0mm (5/64) tips. The speed on 1 and clutch on 1 is perfect for rc screws. And the best part is that my arm isn't even tired!

I got the new losi outer diff case ground down, shimmed, lubed, and installed. Now im back in business with 4wd and so relieved. The truck isn't nearly as much fun in RWD mode.
