34t spur hes speaking of is the integy 34t mod 1 aluminim spur.
Mod 1 gearing is what u need if u are going for speed. Slightly Bigger pinions and much smaller spurs.

I really wish someone did make a smaller mod 0.8 spur bc it would solve many of OUR problems.

So today i ran over a squirrel while running 6s. My schnauzer was after him, so im sure he thought he was done for when he felt the contact. Lucky for him i was already on the brakes when they ran into the street so it really didnt hurt him at all.

My temps were 150*f esc and 170*f motor geared ~ 21/54 with the liquid taped esc. I can officially say that adding liquid tape onto the esc will not overheat the esc like many have wondered.

Yesterday my rear modded carrier bearings gave out. Im pretty sure it was just user error with my out of round road rage tires. My truck was actually running ok and then got really loose during a high speed wheelie which turned into a cartwheel that lasted way too long. This broke my traxxas wing... Again.

Since i didnt have any more (14x8x4) on hand i was forced to upgrade to some 16x8x5 bearings. It really was quite easy... Just a lot of material to remove with a slow speed drill press. The 16x8x5 bearings should last through anything i can throw at them.

    Oooo and i forgot

I updAted my mud flaps to slide on the a-arm and used a bolt like kvg20s thread.

Ran it for 2 minutes then broke my left rear axle... opened my toolbox, took out my tools and one replacement axle and changed it in less than 5 minutes... than proceeded to my bashing in the snow !!!

So happy I bought spare parts

Ran my ERBE with CorrosionX dipped ESC in the park today through puddles and all without worries that it'll fry on me... I hope anyways. Time will tell.

you can get 50t spur mod0.8 but the problem is your motor touches the ESC mount unless you can find a 32t pinion big enough to push the motor far out.

Made an aluminum rear chassis brace, wrapped the wires in nylon weave, balanced my recently tapped Trenchers, and FINALLY got to bash with it all! It was also my first time bashing with my recently installed 2-speed tranny and modded 3 channel Traxxas tx. LOVE the 2 speed. It's SOOO nice to be able to crawl, then flip the switch and fly!

You can see the nylon weave and aluminum chassis brace...

Here's a bigger pic with the Trenchers

    Brewers, check cableorganizer.com

I got mine there. It's pretty cheap and it wraps around the wires, so no need to take the connectors off!

no, you don't want it to flex. Being flat it instead of round it might flex in the middle...maybe...

Haha, good! That's what I was aiming for... lol. Yeah, it doesn't flex. It's 1/8" thick 6061, so it's pretty rigid. I'm sure if I had a NAAASTY crash it might bend some, but if it saves the rear end it's worth it.

Go to the website, put RDT0188-BK in the search box, scroll down to the different size options and it should be the first one(1/8"-5/16"). This is for the black weave. In my pictures above, you can see both black and orange. The orange is made of plastic or something...I'm not a huge fan. The black stuff is called Bentley Harris Roundit 2000. You can get the same thing, but flame retardant...but it's only available in green and costs 3x as much.

I took Mistercrash's rear bulk idea (http://traxxas.com/forums/showthread...=1#post3868462) and ended up doing this to mine. Hopefully it will help tighten the flexing bulk a little.
