What Did You Do to Your EREVO Today?

Since seeing this thread in other sections I decided we needed this.

I installed my capacitor bank into my wiring after seeing the Castle Cap Pack floating around. I figured even if I run 4s its still worth something since I am geared so high. I have decent batteries but they do come out warm (110*F) if i drive it really hard.

I also rechecked my tires. The 3.2 badlands on rulux wheels are still intact but have seen better days for sure. The rear 3.8 badlands on Geodes are still holding very well. I love the 3.8 badlands and will likely use this tire until the day i die.

So I was able to run the mess out of it before it rained and then about an inch came down.

Lets see 20 or 30 backflips off the fence. Broke a roll pin in the wheel hex. Re mounted ESC. Changed shock oil to 60wt. Then I went to the local track and whipped up on the slashes for a while.

What do the P3 rockers do? So you need to change anything else out to make these work properly?

I took apart my entire back end, cleaned every screw with WD40, cleaned off all the sealed bearing units, washed out tires, and rims, made it all shiny again.

Pulled out shocks, cleaned them up.

Tonight, the same will be done with the front end, then I will rebuild the shocks.

Pink and purple springs, with 70wt oil. Might be too stiff, but, we'll see.

Not for certain yet just put them on I already had the black push rods that it says to use with the p3 rockers I put the stiffer blue springs that I had in the rear that made a great difference ill change them to purple onece they arrive Saturday also have 60 w oil which I'm not gonna use till the vdk gets here see sense in tearing the shocks apart twice ill be using the blue springs in the front and purple in the rear with the adjustments on the shocks 2/3 tightened but I'm setting mine up for high jumps and in hopes of not slamming the chassis so hard when landing

Yep the black pushrods are about a half inch longer than the p2 silver rods.

Try the p3 rockers. They make the truck feel much tighter like a firm sway bar setup or a racing truggy.

They are recommended onroad. Likely bc they provide that tight street feel without using sway bars. IMPO stiff sway bars and p2 setup is very similar to a p3 setup without sway bars.

I pulled my daughter around in her radio flyer for about ten minutes..slowly of course Then I tried to outrun my dog (who goes nuts when he sees a rc) but was mostly unsuccessful until he started tiring out...and then I broke one of the 1x4 legs in two on my ramp, that sucked but I've been wanting to build a new one anyway.

Drove mine last night in a few inches of fresh snow with the LEDs I've recently installed, it was a total blast !!!
I taped it all on my GoPro but... it was 1:30am so it was way too dark for the GoPro... you hear the ERBE blasting around and you see the headlights and tail-lights but other than that you don't see squat !!! lollll

Oh well, better luck next time !!!

Does your dog try to rip the tires apart when he catches it? My dog is neurotic about rc's, if he sees or hears one he will literally go insane...and he can just about keep up with my revo running 40mph for the first few minutes anyway...he always catches it when I have to slow down for a turn...he'll grab a tire, while it's still going 15 mph, flip it over and start chewing on a tire until I yell at him.

Yes he does.. I'm all ways having to get after him to stop trying to shake it.. I drive slower than normal with mine since i do not want to hurt mine.. He barks and barks while i'm trying to get the lid on LOL
