My take on the slice 4x

So i bought the chassis from jayjanek from the forum here and he was having a problem with the center diff binding i have a slice B2 on my 2wd slash so i got the 4x from him and had the same problem with the chassis that jay did but it was a very simple fix i did a little grinding with the dremal around where the diff gear set to widen that area and also ground the area where the motor shaft set and it WORKS GREAT IMO this is a very good mod for the money i took it to the track last night and it handles SWEET it jumps 1000 times better in the sence that it dont drop the nose like it did on the stock chassis so overall i would give this kit a 9 out of 10 for making this a WAY MORE race ready truck

Is it just me or there isn't anything holding the top of the motor mount to the frame ?
that would probably cause a bent drive tube on rough landing.

No there isn't. We assembled a friends and we found that to be the weak link in the chassis. We added a tab to join to the center hole on the top of the motor mount. If you were running an upgraded mount I think it wouldn't be quite so bad but with stock mount it flexes all over. Once we added that all was good. The performance gain is huge.
One improvement would be to ditch the screws and tapped holes in plastic spacers and go with bolt through with nut.

no it wasnt a bent shaft it was a binding issue with the driveline and yes there is mounting for the motor mount at the top the holes are pre drilled it is a very good chassis
