Best tire/wheel combo for dry/hardpack tracks?

    Hello,

We are new to the sport and I was looking to see what kind of tire upgrades I should do? The track my son drives at is primarily hardback and it can get slick in the corners.

What kind or tread or compound should I be looking for?

    Suggestions/Opinions?

    Thanks!

    Todd

i think proline blockade 2.2/3.0 would work on that track, IMO

In all honesty, your best bet is to talk to people who are running at the track. We can give you blind advice, but the fast guys at the track you are running is the best person to talk to. That way you don't buy the wrong parts.

As Spartan said, ask the others that run on our track. There is no way to suggest a good tire for a specific track without trying it out. Every track is different dirt and maintained differently.
