Aftermarket CVD's? MIP X-duty's or Tekno's? Other? Legal forum? non-Traxxas advice?

I've had to change rear CVD's on my 3 week old 4x4 Ultimate twice, and it's getting old fast.

I got one recomendation for MIP X-Duty replacements, and I'm ready to buy some for the rear, then someone mentioned Tekno's...

MIP's or Tekno's?
Other?
Advice?

Also, is it legal to discuss non-Traxxas replacement parts here? Should I be doing this on another forum?

I love my Mip X-Duty's! I have had them for a year a they have been solid.

tekno front and rear cvds + rear outdrives +aluminum hexes = same price as mip f and r cvds only

Teknos require you use their carriers (and alu hexes if you run extremely powerful systems.) Pins are captured by bearings, so there is no grub screw loss to worry about except at the diff output shafts. They are physically much smaller than MIPs and the actual axles seem to break far less.

MIPs will not disengage (slip out), may allow more suspension range, will likely chatter less, have extremely strong driveshafts and let you look like you have installed a set or two of Victorian cast iron lamp posts on your truck.

my wifes has mips and three stub axles have broken. I have teknos and have had three broken dog bones..i prefer the teknos fwiw

Haven't had a problem with them, other than the pins falling out (then I bought thread locker, zero problems afterward)

ill go with tekno. mine hit 79mph with them ...and also bash with them with no issues. check it out.

mip's my vote had them for 4months on me and my sons truck running 3s no issues. Matter of fact just put a set on a roller i built for my brother. your choice dont hink you'll go wrong with either.

+1 on mip x-duty run mainly 3s and some 4. Definitely use loc tite or you'll loose pins QUICKLY.
Have tekno on sons rig, still sturdy but for slash with extreme power go mip hands down.
