Crap... I only have the stock batteries but i guess that will have to do. My other batteries are 2S and 6S. Two 2S batteries will be too slow and my 6S doesn't fit.

I really need to start looking for more batteries that fits this thing.

    What time Sunday?

I might not make it Sunday. I tried running my car tonight and it wont turn on. The only thing i can think of is i hit a puddle of water the other day. I disconnected the batteries and left it there to dry. Today i connected the batteries and nothing.

I use to run my Rustler and my pan cars there. Track is super smooth without the VHT. So sticky tires or 30 shore tires will work excellent.

PS Divide Alaska in HALF and Texas becomes the 3rd largest state. So does that mean Alaska can be its on continent then?

I installed the XL2 in my car and now i can't find a big enough place to run it. Houston has a lot of Huge parking lots but XO-1 needs a lot of space to be comfortable...

Who's down to go to this track one day?
I just ordered a new 100mph splitter so i should be up and running next week. I also have a radar gun and I'll bring my video camera so get some legit footage.
Any high speed run video without GPS or Radar to confirm always turns into a big debate about how accurate the speedometer on out remotes are.

The parkinglot at the Costco plaza on hwy249 is big enough for the XO. Empty on Sunday mornings. Plenty of space for run up and braking. And no speed bumps. The track at HMP is very smooth, but without the VHT on top won't be any good for the slick tires untill you gain downforce. You could start on the concrete part and once the downforce is there, run onto the "blacktop". See if the trackowners will give you some VHT. They had done that in the past. Ease onto the brakes is key on the blacktop. I'll meet up with you if you go.

249 is far for me. I live on east side of Houston where beltway8 hits i10.
The main thing I wanted to do was hit that big oval. That way we can come out of the corner at 40mph+ and hit it hard on the straight.
Im worried that in the drag strip we'd might feel more rushed and the fact that we'd be fighting harder to keep the car tracking straight since we're going from 0mph to 100mph+ as fast as we can.
Also I havnt been to this place in years but I'm sure the oval is a lot wider lane then the drag strip so it'll give us more room to fix our error.

My fast car uses a slow servo. If you car is align well, it will track straight. Trick is to ease on the launch and the rest will take care of itself. I never been on the oval, but it will be lotta fun getting some good footage.
