Suspension messed up & Suspension Setup?

My suspension on my slash 1 16, the thing that tightens the shocks looks like it went off track. any ideas?
Also, best suspension set up? thanks

take the shock off the truck. take the spring off. slowly unthread it all the way off then just put it back on and re-assemble. thats what always worked for me

i bought the traxxas black springs, there seem to work out great for me, most guys do tan and black i did blackk all around but i preffer it to be a bit stiffer, i went with 60k oil for the shocks but wish i had gone 80 or 100 as it doesnt dampen enouph for my liking, get the aluminum GH shock bodies they are only like $15 for all 4 and that wont happen again.... itll be one of my next upgrades...

what your saying you cant get the shock cap to screw back onto the shock body, dont force it or itll srip, it should go on easily then hold the body with pliers and tighten the cap with your hand for your last little bit of tightening...

or are you saying your having issues getting the shocks mounted back to the chassis of the car...

front or rear are the same, just a smaller shock tower in the rear, first you go thru the shock tower hole then thru the shock then thru the bottom of the shock tower then it goes down into the chassis, just push the screw threw all of it hard untill it stops at the chassis, then start screwing....

diff oil should be way higher then 100w, diff oil is like in my tmaxx 50k "50,000" in the front, and 30k "30,000" in the rear is what i use, shock oil is 30w 40w 45w on up, id use 50w to 80w in your shocks, diff oil isnt really oil at all its lube its like the consistancy of honey...

your shock wouldnt move with diff lube in it, haha

that guy prolly mislabeled it, i bet what he meant is 100w shock oil
