    Unhappy diff oil or grease???

hey guys i recently disassembled my rear-diffs because the bearings were damaged.
When i opened the the diff plastic housing i saw only grease inside. which is weird because
i heard there's suppose to be diff-oil there.

can someone please explain if i need to put only grease or do i need to buy diff-oil?

if its a sealed diff then you put in diff lube, i use 50k in the front and 30k in the rear on my e-maxx spec sealed diffs, on the pinion and ring gear you still just use grease

if your diffs are not sealed diffs, which most tmaxx's arent, then use grease on all of it....

youll know if its a sealed diff itll have a rubber seal imbetween the ring gear and the diff housing...

Do you mean there is grease in the diff CUP or the diff HOUSING the housing there should be grease if your diff cup is a sealed unit there should be oil fluid in there. If it is not a sealed unit the grease is fine al around
