Slash 1/16 4x4 (not vxl) ESC

So I just soldered my esc battery cable back together, its not as covered up as it used to be (no rubber covering it) will it be fine if it gets wet? if not what should I do. Also, I just bought a 2 cell lipo, any cheap waterproof esc's that would work with my truck? Because I just might buy a new one, so i don't have to deal with the hassle.

    How about a picture??
More than likely you are fine.

You should be able to use a LiPo with the stock ESC, as it is rated for over 9v; it just doesn't have LVC. However, an LVA can be purchased for a few dollars shipped to your door on eBay.
Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.

is the wire is exposed there is a chance that the batt get shorted, or damage the esc, another esc will be a vapor pro (sidewinder sv2 with a fan and waterproofed).
