are you using just one single nimh, if so go lipo, better yet go dual lipo in parallel

My mom won't let me use LiPos, so I'll use the high speed connector, and no, I have (V)elineon. But I figured out how to wheelie with 1 NiMh. At full throttle, stop, to where the front is down, and hit the gas so hard that your fingers cramp. It will do a whopping wheelie! Also, I'm waiting on Talons, so I'm using my 1/16 Slash's tires at the moment.

If you have a vxl that's all you need is 2 series 1 batteries and a series connector. You will wheelie

I ran that setup for a few months but lipo is better. Longer run times and the same speed threw the whole battery pack. You can run in series tell u want to go lipo. Series is pretty fast.

you have to pay to play

it will stress the drivetrain and electronics, but if you want wheelies, oyu have to deal with the consequences

It should wheelie with just one pack in it. Might check the slipper and make sure it is not too loose.

for good reason to, at least shes hip to how dangerous they are, but if taken care of properly they are fine, the dual nimh's will do you just fine, my buddy had dual nimh's and it was nasty, it would not just wheelie it would do back flips and land right back on the tires...

Series with a wheelie bar going full throttle from a dig is how I destroyed my diffs, listen to the guys with lots of posts/experience like jimbo....stay away from series and the 'coolness' of wheelies...or you'll be back soon asking for that thread about re-building diffs lol. I learned the hard way

    Yep I agree 100%

I somewhat fault the youtube vids of people insanely bashing their car in skate parks and back flipping off walls making it appear as if the car is industructable: its not, its very fragile and you need to run it like a 400$ toy.

If you're talking to me, somewhat used. It was my 1/16 Slash that I converted to an E-Revo, but the Slash was new. (brand new )

I informed my mum about the dangers of lipo all you need to do is show you are responsible and safe. get a lipo bag a decent charger but I wouldn't show her any videos of when things go wrong tbh you can leave that out...
