I only order from the hobby shop, I am a hands on kind a guy lol. If it's not in front of me I don't buy it.

i used to be like that but when i saw how much my lhs wanted for rc's i was like i'll order online and save a ton of money like that and some tax as well. some things i dont like waiting for but not much. well worth the price at stormer because i think my lhs has the xo-1 for like 1250 or more

Yeah I fell you on that, luckily my hobby shop just happens to be really good on price, service and they keep a bunch of stuff
In stock. The Xo-1 Is $1040 there and they know me so well I don't have to put a down payment. I love there service if I fry a esc or something they exchange it and send it back there self.

Im from Sweden and with Towerhobbies discount coupons the US price is $1099 - $250 discount = $849 unshipped.
Then ad shipping and custom charges etc.

my bad ,approx 15.00 to ship according to website, still a good deal,my lhs has it for about 1160 with tax,so about 140 or so less

Been watching it fairly closely. At the moment, the Stormer $969 looks hard to beat. Of course the Tower end of the year deal for "Gold" members was...well gold; $1059 - $150 =$909.99. The current deal at $1099 - $60 = $1039.99. Stormer appears to have stock vs. Tower not yet.

Man the LHS 5 min away from me sells every traxxas car they have on the market but no clue when they will be recieving this one , but they know they will be selling it for 1099 if and when they get it .. then the LHS thats like 40 miles away has only 1 in stock <Blue> and selling for 999+ tax .. I would go get it now but I dont want BLUE <thunmdown> .. Cant wait till black comes in ..

I'm a chef by trade and work long long hours and the spare time I get I put into my hobby so I don't drink or smoke. I pay my rent on time every week and eat at wrk 5 days a week so my grocery bills are super low. I catch pu lic transport to work every day so I don't need to pay for car rego, insurance, petrol or anything. So spending a couple a grand on a hobby is worth it all the way. I don't count on money handed down to me either my dad I stilled in me that if you want something in life you have to go out there and work for it.
