Just noticed that it was available this morning. It's weird that the post date in the App Store shows 12/21/11. It also already has a perfect rating and nobody can even use it yet without the new transmitter.

The app is very clean, easy to navigate, and reasonably fast. The Traxxas Link iPhone interface is going to be worlds better than the push button method on the current TQ transmitters. But now the The anticipation for the XO-1 is starting to get to me.

I think the one button radio was always a flop idea, so they started back peddling to fix a poor system. Instead of one button and a lot a customer support let's use a whole smart phone instead.

Well thats probably the trade off. They could have spent more on designing the link interface.... but they instead tried to duck that and probably got stuck with a million tech calls.

I'm still a little embaressed since I'm such an elite rc'er.... but the 1 time I've called traxxas support, it was for that radio!

So now they figure we can't design a whole new radio, but an iphone interface is doable... and its a good call if you ask me.

Just swipe the line of the model you wish to delete, and it will popup with a delete button.

What's this Castle 1717 motor listed for the Xo-1? I thought it was getting a Big Block in it. I know the difference but why confuse all the noobs and nitro guys?

Hi guys, the app doesnt work with my IPOD Touch, 3.1.3, even though traxxas says it requires 3.1 or newer. The app starts with the first screen but shuts down after 1-2 seconds by itself.

Any ideas?

Just upgrade the firmware to the latest.....2nd gens can go to 4.2. Works fine on mine

I do wish the setups would allow more customized aftermarket options/set up sheet details. The ability to do that would take the app to the next level.

The app is pretty cool as is now. The low voltage alarms sure got my attention when i was fiddling. If you havent done it, go to a voltage display, then set a LVC setting exit the setting.
