LOL you think P4de's can get expansive, try thrashing a Nitro Revo the way we beat our P4de's.

I have easily 3 times the cash into my revo as I do in my P4DE and luv em both.

Aluminum bleeder caps are the way to go. The caps have usually one to two small holes that allows air to bleed out when you are screwing the caps on. Makes bleeding air out much easier. The are just as hard to install as the plastic ones. They just screw on...

The bleeder caps I am fimilar with have no screws that go into bleeder holes. As you tighten cap down, air is forced out the bleeder hole, oil then comes out as you further tighten the cap, and the hole seals when cap is properly seated...

Which bleeder caps are you talking about? Which shocks are you running?

Quick search of youtube yielded me this with some screws in the bleeder holes. Seems pretty simple to do, just not as easy as the Pro-lines.

    Hmmmm. Let's see.
My Spartan won't run (ESC solid green and just beeps continuos )
Tmaxx 4910 3.3 engine shot after crankshaft got wedge in crank case
    Rustler VXL blew the ESC

This is definitely an expensive hobby. Trying to decide which one to fix first. Not enough money for all 3

It might be that the Revo spec slipper is able to produce more friction than the stock one. That means more maximal stress on the shaft.

But think of all the abuse it's taken before it snapped dude.plus I went through a bad spell with the center driveshaft I split 2 in a month once and that was with the vxl system but since I have added more power with the tenshock I have no problems it's just weird how it goes man......peace

Maybe you had bad luck with the shaft. On the other hand 1/2 turn is no precise value. When the little guy here turned his slipper all the way tight, I could still turn it 3/4 tighter

I have never had slipper problems so far. Using a MMP/2650 combo, enough power to break a MIP axle. So I know my slipper shaft is stronger than a MIP axle

Yep. Although I never had problems with the stock slipper, I decided to upgrade when I put the MMP/2650 in it.

Ok thanks dude. Maybe it really was bad luck or as spennie said "wear and tear". I will test the next slipper shaft with the exact same setup just to find out if it breaks again. If it does, then there must be something wrong with my setup.
