Sure they look good but it is just way too expensive for the benefit they bring (IMO). Chassis overall adds weight to the truck overloading the drivetrain then you must upgrade the diffs so they can handle the extra weight. For a shelf queen it is nice but not for a day to day use.

Lots of people use their E-Maxx as a speed truck so this new chassis is perfect for them. See the popularity of Gorillamaxx chassis which are not produced anymore.

Power is trendy today, so reliable diff/hybrid combos are always welcome !

Is the diff better than the stock, or is it just a recreation?

And when your Maxx is traveling at 70mph and hits a curb, or goes of a 60' jump, or spinns out, or pretty much anything with a MMM on 6s, you need that strength. Especially if you are racing., head on collision in full speed racing is 140mph and 20lbs = 144000lbs of force, thats alot.

And FLM is not for shelf queens, their products are incretably strong (to withstand the abuse I mentioned above), and, i belive, are backed by a life-time warrenty. Plus this lowers the COG and has options for moving the tranny and batts back and forth to chang weight ratios and other things that will bennifit racers.

And people who use the FLM bulks and diffs have already shredded their stock diffs with 6s or even 8s power, and shattered their stock bulks because at 60+ the slightest imperfection can send the truck flying.

the FLM LCG chassis are cool!! but you also loose some ground clearance too so depending on how you like to bash....I started out with a LCG chassis, and I just tore the bottom of it up, so if you like big jumps...( and I also agree with fvj) lol just saying not bashing!

My Maxx gotta handle jumps, snow, have tons of torque and that is why, for me, a LCG Al chassis is pointless. I have other trucks for speed. I had a EMBE before and sold since my ERBE handles speed way better than the Maxx. With that said, I love my brushed Maxx; it is the truck I use most from my fleet, and would not spend tons of money to try to make it reach 70 or 80mph. But that is just me.

HERE is a build thread on RC-M. I really like this chassis but I wish the tranny mount location was thicker.
