Looks sweet!! I love bodys that "low ride" more. Don't mean to diss the stampede, but I don't really like hoe high the body is on it.

Yea revoracer same here, I prefer the look of the revo but prefer the bashing ability of the emaxx, so I am trying to lower the body as much as possible. I think I am going to cut some holes in the front and rear windows just so things keep cool as it is pretty tight under there.

Yea looks wicked revoracer, but with my driving those lights would last about 2 mins. I need to try and land on my wheels a bit more! lol I have just totally cut out the windscreen and placed wired mesh behind it, just in the middle of sticking it down at the moment. I was going to do the back window too, but I think the air will be pushed down over the motor better this way. Will post a picture as soon as its done.

What colour are you going to paint it in the end? Would look good with a metallic finish paint, maybe blue or silver even.

Installed a CC Cap Pack, Traxxas connectors & test fit 2 x 3S LIPOs. I set the throttle curve low for now. Once the Pure-tech battery straps come in I'll take it for a test run on 6S.

It's sitting in my truck waiting for the sun to come out. I keep staring out the window at work waiting for a break in the rain haha. No dice yet.

Removed the preload clips and moved to the lower-inner shock mounting points. Feels nice but a little loose, so I ordered Associated MGT Gold (5.1 lb) springs. Also ordered new satin silver bumpers since I cracked the front one. Looking forward to the tauter handling!

Picked up a new set of tires, stock ones on stock rims for a great price, so now my talons will be strictly pavement since they are terrible tires LOL. Changed gearing and off to the river I go!

What did I do today? Broke my front stock skid plate, guess I have to upgrade to the RPM skids, oh darn so disappointed haha Turned my maxx into 2wd unintentionally as well. Was driving in the dark at my parents place and ran in to a pipe since I couldnt see where my truck was and with the broken front skid plate, things flexed enough that the little half shaft right before the front diff popped apart, glad it's an easy fix. Brother was running a rustler and after I ran him over a couple times it bugged him enough he now wants me to search out an embe for him too.

Sweet! Now you get to buy more stuff!! Go with aluminum bulks..but make sure they are built solid or they will bend.

It kind of makes you wonder what would an rpm arm do in that situation just rip or take out the suspension pin. And BTW ive got two FLM diff housing just sitting here waiting on my FLM chassis to arrive!

That's a carnage! I would guess they would tear or at the last deform. How did your T-Bone hold up? They do honor their warranty if you break it.

Mounted the new Proline SVT Raptor body I painted for it. First try at this and overall I'm happy with the results.

    Nice paint job wilson.
All I did today was move mine from by the door where it was, according to the wife, "in the way", to down the hall a little where I still have a straight shot out the door for whenever it finally stops freaking raining!

A friend of mine came over with a bunch of lipos. Did some testing with different batteries.(2s and 3s)
I ran two 3s in parallel series.Speed was are 35ish.The i ran two 3s in series wow.Way more than i need.Ran two 3s in series with no body on now i need to order some new body posts. The pavement was not so fore giving.I do need to get a wheelie bar.
I did settle on 2s in series.I like the speed and torque.
All test run were a 17t pinion and 68t Spur. thats what i had. Next i would like to try 19 0r 20 pinion. LHS had them on back order.
I did put a castle fan on my motor to.

I've had to gear down to keep it under control at 6S. I'm also using a rollcage. Best insurance ever. Besides that, I have GH Steering Bell Crank on standby. Running in the cold does not bode well for plastic.

What roll cage are you running ? Also be careful with that GH bellcrank. It is super stiff I twisted a hitec aluminum servo arm since installing it. I have bought a kimbrough servo saver to run on my servo.
