    LiPo vs NiMH

    Which is better? What are the notable advantages/disadvantages to each?

    Lipos provide more power and last longer. They also weigh less.

    There are no real advantages of NiMh batteries over lipos.

    Number of posts. Also get lipo. If your going to stay in this hobby it's a real need. Prepare about $100 your first purchase, $60 for charger and 40 for battery. Done and done

    'Back in the day' the only advantage NiMH had over LiPo was price… but now LiPos are that cheap it doesn't even factor in anymore.

    Nimh cost more for less performance. A nice lipo goes for like 30 to 40 bucks. Even less depending on what mah and discharge rate u want.
